- About to ICBEE 2026 !
The International Conference on Environmental Engineering and Botany (IACBEE 2026) will be held grandly in Lanzhou, a key ecological and scientific research hub in northwest China. This conference focuses on the cross integration of environmental engineering technology innovation and botanical research, aiming to build a high-level, interdisciplinary international academic exchange platform, gathering experts, scholars, researchers, environmental engineers, agricultural technicians, and ecological protection managers in the fields of environmental science, plant biology, ecology, soil science, water resources management, biotechnology, and sustainable development. The conference will focus on in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as the role of plants in environmental pollution remediation (such as the application of aquatic plants in heavy metal contaminated soil remediation and eutrophication control of water bodies), physiological mechanisms and gene mining of stress resistant plants (drought, salt alkali, and cold resistance), desertification control and vegetation restoration technology, selection and ecological function assessment of urban greening plants, the impact of climate change on plant distribution and ecosystems, plant diversity protection and germplasm resource library construction, cultivation and utilization of biomass energy plants, plant metabolic response and molecular regulation mechanisms under environmental stress, ecological barrier construction and watershed comprehensive management, plant-based green infrastructure and sponge city construction. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, experimental results displays, and field case analyses, we aim to promote innovation in the ecological governance path of "using the power of plants to solve environmental problems". IACBEE 2026 emphasizes the core concept of "rooted in nature, green governance and symbiosis", and is committed to leveraging the key role of plants in ecological restoration and environmental protection, serving the national ecological civilization construction, Yellow River Basin ecological protection and western sustainable development strategy. The high-quality papers accepted by the conference will be recommended for publication in relevant international journals indexed by SCI, EI, or Scopus, expanding the academic influence of research results.

All full paper submissions to the ICBEE 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICBEE 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

-Submission Guidelines-
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to icbee@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
Call for Reviewers
As a platform for global academic communication, the quality of conference publication has always an aspect attracting much of our attention. To ensure quality of our publication and to better serve the peers in academic circle, we now call for reviewers among professionals and experts of the world. Professionals and experts who hold PhD (doctoral) degree in the conference related areas are encouraged to join in us and together, we will work hard to become a world-class academic conference. SCI JOURNAL
